Developing Innovative Desktop and Embedded HP Products with Qt
Our presentation will connect the audience (virtually) with the inventors who created HP Virtual Rooms over 11 years ago (using Java), and then re-implemented the product suite via Qt, beginning in 2006. HP Virtual Rooms is a web collaboration, video conferencing, e-learning and remote support - product suite - logging over 315 million users minutes per month. The presentation will briefly cover the HPVR architecture, but focus mainly on the multi-platform Qt client implementations - Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobility client - Nokia N900. Technical questions from the audience can be directed to the engineers who will be participating virtually (via HPVR), from around the world.
