You probably noticed the fancy badge on your profile. It's a result of your activities on the Network. Literally everything you do is rewarded with a fixed number of points. We do the math for you and award you with a badge displaying your current rank.
But watch out! Points expire after 12 months. So you'd better keep going...
Actions - Points
- Rating any piece of content, including Doc Notes: 1 point
- Adding a new tag to any piece of content: 2 points
- Adding/editing Doc Note categories: 2 points
- Adding a comment to any piece of content: 2 points
- Editing an existing wiki page (limited to a max. of 5 edits per day): 3 points
- Adding a new forum post: 5 points
- Adding a new forum topic: 5 points
- Editing an existing Doc Note (limited to a max. of 5 edits per day): 6 points
- Adding a new page to a wiki: 7 points
- Adding a new Doc Note: 14 points
- Completing your profile: 20 points

Ranks - Rights
All logged-in users can comment, rate and create content on wikis and forums. By leveling up you will extend your rights on the network step by step.
- Ant Farmer: can tag (while were in Open Beta all ranks can tag) and add doc notes
- Hobby Entomologist: can remove existing tags
- Robot Herder: can request a group
- Dinosaur Breeder: can become moderator of a subforum
- Gene Splicer: can become moderator of the whole forum
- Area 51 Engineer: can become admin of the forum
- Mad Scientist: is full of win and awesomeness (and will receive some special attention, trust us!)
