Qt Contributors Summit 2012

Hi all, I would personally prefer that the Multimedia and Qml sessions would not be in parallel. Don’t know how others feel about it.

Hi All, Maybe we could move Qt Quick Desktop Components main session to be earlier in the day or on Thu to allow follow-up sessions and workgroups on the same topics to also happen during Friday when most of the attendees are still there. I think that will one of the most popular sessions, and certainly one of the key items for 5.1.

132 participants confirmed so far. They have all a shirt guaranteed with the gender & size as requested. We will extrapolate current data for up to 225 shirts.

You can use http://www.fahrinfo-berlin.de/Fahrinfo/bin/query.bin/en?ld=0.1& to see how long it will take from any hotel to the venue, by public transportation. That site understands street addresses so it can get you from door to door.

I’m thinking that Hotel NH Berlin Friedrichstrasse might be a good one for QCS, anyone else had a look at hotels?

We have gone through a first round of participants’ approvals: 33 people. 9 requests pending, mainly due to travel sponsorship. We still haven’t got sponsors and therefore travel budget 100% confirmed. We are working on this with the hope of giving answers to the potential travelers asap.
