I am also in favor of this idea.

We definitely have this feature request in the wish list – but it requires that the forum software vendor makes it. So it’s out of our hands for now, the Q&A-type forum features will come first.

Would be useful for voting I guess, but it’s well covered in our internal tracker. I’m reminded of it every time I see a language I don’t understand in the new post search :)

Hi, I was also looking for a solution to opt out some grand topics. When this is possible, could it be possible to divide General and Desktop topic to: General, Desktop, QWidgets, or only General, QWidgets/Desktop. I’m a mobile developer, and very rarely use QWidgets anymore, so it would be nice to opt out from them, but still receive the “General” part mostly including things from QtCore which is still very important to me :)
