OpenLayers QWebView not working on Symbian^1 - fine on Symbian^3

 

Hi,

I am trying to determine why a simple QWebView pointing to the OpenLayers mobile example (http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/mobile.html) works fine on Symbian^3 but not on Symbian^1.

I was under the impression that if the Symbian^1 device is using the same version of QtWebKit then it should just work on both OS’s.

On Symbian^1, the rendering is all messed up – I can see some of the tiles but they aren’t in the right place and when I try to pan around using touch, it just doesn’t work – the map jerks a bit but that’s all.

Has anyone else come across this?
