Qt Creator crash on Fedora 14 64-bit

Hi,

Since a few weeks now, I am regularly experiencing a crash of Qt-creator on my Fedora 14 64-bit machine running the Gnome desktop. The qt-creator window usually just disappears as I am typing code and often causes Fedora itself to lock up. I have also noticed some onscreen artefacts – especially on scrolling – in the editor window. Has anybody seen or experienced these problems ?
I am using the latest version of the lgpl qt-creator as of 5th April 2011.
I really need help with this as my organization requires me to use Fedora, and I am losing productivity due to repeated crashes.

Thanks and regards,
adhishm

Have you considered writing a bug report [bugreports.qt.nokia.com] (preferrably with a backtrace)?

A bug report will get the developer’s attention, a post in devnet will not necessarily do so.

Thank you Tobias. I will do that first thing tomorrow morning. I just wanted to check here before posting there.

Since a few days now, I am regularly experiencing a crash of Qt-creator on my Fedora 14 64-bit machine running the Gnome desktop. The qt-creator window usually just disappears whenever i am trying to open New Project or add the existing file in project.

Can some one tell me what is the problem??

Thanks and regards,

Please get a backtrace and file a bug report. Without a backtrace it is impossible to say what might be wrong.
