Links in mailing notifications throwing always to first page

For example, in these project elf threads especially, post count has well grown so large that there is more than one page of posts.

When you get mail notification from such thread, it throws you to first page, making you always skipping to next page.

I think best solution for this would be to add section to link to tell which post you want to be accessed, something like @http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewreply/11826/post/id_number_here/@, as this allows the system to calculate whether to display first page(user has not read everything at that page yet) or page after that(user has read all posts in pages before that page).

Normally, the link in the mail points to the first post since you last read that thread, putting you on the right page. It works ok for me.

Hmm, you are right. I wonder why it doesn’t work after first page is full…

Maybe this is one of those cases I just do it wrong… Nothing new in it though. :)

But were you able to do it correctly now or you are still facing same issue.

It’s only the post after you posted. Most likely you posted on the first page and by the time you get back it’s on page 4 because of project elf

I’ll follow more closely if it really happens so in some cases…

Okay, this may be error due either my mail server or usage of two clients… Seeing old links as new.
