How to create and deploy a mobile app for Symbian (N8) and Maemo (N900)

I initially posted these instructions here. I’ve now created a wiki:
http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/How_to_create_and_deploy_a_mobile_app_for_Symbian_N8_and_Maemo_N900_

Good advice! :)

I’ve created a wiki page here: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/How_to_create_and_deploy_a_mobile_app_for_Symbian_N8_and_Maemo_N900_

Do you know how I get it into the “HowTo” category list?

I guess you just need to add this at the top of the wiki article …

  1. [[Category:HowTo]]

Please note that the mobile application wizard in Qt Creator 2.1 (currently at RC) does offer a dialog to set icons for both Symbian and Maemo devices. So that should be taken care of for you:-)

Good stuff! Thanks! :) I’ll download the 2.1 beta when I get some time and give it a whirl.
