Sadly, this is indeed true. But on the other side of things, she grabbed a pretty cool opportunity as it came along. She leaves us behind, and we will mourn that, but of course we also wish her the very best in her new challenge. I’ll leave it to her to spill the beans :) Thankfully she has promised to throw an angry bird stuffed toy in anger at me once in a while.

What sad news this week. It’s a big loss and we will sadly miss you, Alexandra. No offense to you other guys, especially Marius and Gurudutt – with such a small team, it’s a big loss. You have formed a great team and it was (in respect to Alexandra) and is (for the rest :-) ) a great pleasure to work together with you. Best wishes to you, Alexandra! I hope we will read from you once in a while, and have a cup of coffee and muffins some time (I still have a plan to visit Norway with the motor bike :) ). I personally am glad to have met you.

And for all of us, the users of DevNet: While Alexandra, Marius, Gurudutt and all the other great folks over at Nokia have placed the seed, it is we who form this great place, our support, the good atmosphere and everything else. Let’s keep it that way – and DevNet will stay that place we all like to hang on.

To begin with, I will wait for Alexandra to say goodbye before saying my many thanks for her great work with Qt’s community!

Yes, it’s true. Today is my last day working for Nokia; on Monday I will hand back the keys, so to speak. I will sorely miss my team, especially Marius with all his teasing, and I am extremely proud of what we have built. However, some opportunities are simply to good to let them pass.

But I am only this one little me, you are the hundreds of people populating this place. I have contributed to the foundations, it’s you who build the house!
