Since a couple of days we have a new design for the devnet webpage. It looks nice and fresh, but it seems to lack some functionality.

Does somebody know how to access a search based on tags?

At the moment apparently the tags may be accessed only through tags defined in a thread. This works partly, but only when I have already one of the threads with that specific tag.
The old implementation had its issues, but at least it provided some functionality even if not optimal, it was helpful.

Thread names as tags

Hi,

I have stumbled upon a great number of tags being the thread names themself. Sometimes they have non-alphanumerical characters in them, preventing getting back to the thread itself (slashes, backslashes maybe?).

	Here are some nice examples:

Transparent Qlabel in Qt 3.0.3 [qt-project.org] and its can anyone pls help me how to make auto click on the qpushbutton [qt-project.org] tag
QtQuick 2.0: Unable to find a renderable master window [qt-project.org] with its unable to find a renderable master window [qt-project.org] tag

I highly doubt they are a recommended way of tagging [qt-project.org], but I nonetheless wanted to bring up the issue; some of them are new creations.

	Thanks for your input,
Alek

Qt documentation format

Hi,

browsing a little through the oldest (Qt4.7) documentation on DevNet I came to a conclusion that previous format has had some benefits. For example, class members and methods in a table, with folding and ready hyperlinks to source code.
Compare:
QDate from Qt4.7 [qt-project.org]
QDate from Qt5.0 [qt-project.org]

Who gets to decide on the documentation format and is it possible to propose changes, perhaps in a “vote for” style?

Thanks for any input and thoughts,
Alek

I’m sure this isn’t so much a bug as it is me not knowing how to do it, but how do you escape special characters, for instance, if you want to write %_20 (without the underscore), or \^_\^ without the backslashes (currently I do this: \_\^\_\_\^ [without the backslashes] which results in this ^_^).
