Qt Ambassador program?

Hi,

after 2 years of development we successfully migrated our project to Qt framework for all major desktop platforms. I’m wondering if there is still Ambassador program with Ambassador kits and all other cool stuff around like when Qt was maintained by Nokia.

Our application is ORM Designer [orm-designer.com] . Here are some Windows/Mac OS/Ubuntu/Debian screenshots [orm-designer.com] .

I really liked the idea about Ambassador program when we started with Qt so now it would be a pity if we could not sign in to Ambassador program ;-)

	Regards

I’m taking the QT-Essentials exam in 2 weeks, and I am searching for the curriculum block for about a month now, and I need to start preparing now…
Has anyone a copy of the old page that he can post here? I completely relied on this one page when I scheduled the exam, and a few days later, it was gone.
This would be really helpful… I don’t want to cancel the exam just because I don’t know what to learn…

I have done last year all the three Qt certifications.
But.
In my country these certs hardly known.
How can a firm (who will employ me) check that my certifications are valid?
I applied to several firms as a Qt developer.
Sad to say, the firms in my country are very mistrustful.
I always have to confirm my knowledge in every application, I always have to make a C++ test and/or Qt test.
This is so annoying! I have thought that these exams will “validate” me.
Any idea?

Which is the best book for Qt Essentials?

Hello everyone!

I am interested in preparing the Qt Essentials Cerificate and for that I would like to buy a book (only one or maximum two). I saw the books that are listed here [qt.nokia.com], these are:

C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4, 1st and 2nd Edition, by Jasmin Blanchette, Mark Summerfield.
Foundations of Qt Development, by Johan Thelin
An Introduction to Design Patterns in C++ with Qt 4, by Alan Ezust, Paul Ezust
The Book of Qt 4: The Art of Building Qt Applications by Daniel Molkentin

But apparently no one treats completelly all the exam’s subjects. Could you tell me (if you know them) which is the best ?

	Thanks in advance!

I will take the Qt Essential Exam in 20 days
In the curriculum I found this objective:
XML in basics only

Do they mean just th XML file structure or the XML module like Dom and SAX API.

If someone took the exam, I can’t find exam samples, did they ask difficult questions regarding the API, do you have to remember lot of API functions or the focus was on the skills of programming and basic API knowledge.
