It’s Dugnad Time - the Qt eLearning videos have arrived
Norwegians have a great way of flocking together to get things done. Things that usually have not been touched for some time — like cleaning the stairs to the attic for example. It’s called dugnad [en.wikipedia.org] and at the end of the day, everyone gets soda and pizza or grilled sausages.

Lately, all our eLearning videos [developer.qt.nokia.com] have moved into the Qt Developer Network. 143 videos in total! They range from Qt Developer Days 2006 (!) presentations to recordings of live training sessions and training modules for independent learning. Trust us, they are priceless.
The whole section has some neat new features like direct linking into a video. All you need to do is add e.g. “(1:34)” to your comment. VoilĂ .
We had our dugnad while moving the content but we have not yet tagged any of the videos. Tagging is crucial to our content discovery however and the Qt Content Robot we’re working on here will need them to suggest related content throughout the site.
This is now — suprise! — where you come in. We don’t have food and drinks for the end of the dugnad but we have points!
Starting now, every tag on any eLearning video will receive the double amount of points during the coming 7 days. But remember, you can only keep the points you received for tags that stay. So garbage tagging will not work. ;)
Happy Easter tagging!

GordonSchumacher, Lab RatIt’s nice that there’s a word for that; if nothing else, this strikes me as the way that the folks I know here do it when they need to move. I think I may try to pick that word up…

jonathanjhosue, Lab RatIt would be nice to add subtitles to videos. In English and other languages.
So, would be available to more people.
